Opis

• Installing, upgrading and maintaining Client products installations running on JBoss application servers. • Providing system administration and support for Windows Server 2008 instances running on VMware. (initial system installations, system re-imaging, data recovery, hardware diagnostic testing, registry editing etc.) • Responsible for data management and system backups. • Analyzing system performance to ensure it is meeting availability and performance objectives (SLAs). • Ensuring secure configuration of Client’s datacenter. • Administrating and configuring of Oracle 11g clustered database environment.

Wymagania

• Customer service skills - oral and written communications in English.
• 3+ years of proven technical troubleshooting experience with a demonstrated ability to work under time constraints.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows 2003 or 2008 Server.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• General JBoss knowledge including stopping/starting of managed servers, deploying applications and JVM performance/memory tuning.
• Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, routing, VPN, firewalls).
• Ability to – on occasion - travel to customer sites and other Client Offices.
• Experience with source code control systems (CVS) and bug tracking systems like JIRA is a plus.
• Overall knowledge of and experience in application security, secure development practices, and software security quality assurance is a plus.
